Charges Approved in Child Exploitation Investigation

One man has been arrested and charged with multiple Criminal Code offences following a Surrey Police Service (SPS) investigation into alleged sexual exploitation investigation involving a youth.
In mid-May 2026, SPS’s Major Crime Section – Child Protection Team (MCS – CPT) officers commenced an investigation into reports of an adult suspect having allegedly sexually exploited and sexually assaulted a youth.
The investigation has resulted in Criminal Code charges being sworn on May 30, 2026, against David Michael Keogh, a 66-year-old-male. Keogh was arrested on May 30, 2026, and has been charged with one count each of:
- Sexual assault,
- Luring,
- Invitation to sexual touching,
- Sexual exploitation, and
- Sexual interference.
David Keogh has been remanded, and his next scheduled court date is June 1, 2026.
