Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an afternoon single vehicle collision in Cloverdale that has sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.

At approximately 4:09 pm on November 2, 2026, SPS Frontline officers responded to calls from Surrey Fire Services (SFS) of a single vehicle collision in the southbound lane of 8300 block 176 Street, Surrey, where the vehicle had rolled over and one occupant had been ejected from the vehicle.

SPS officers arrived to find SFS firefighters and BCEHS paramedics treating the driver and passenger, one of whom was ejected from the vehicle at the time of the crash, for multiple injuries. Both were transported to hospital by BCEHS with the driver reportedly in critical condition.

The investigation is in its early stages, and the cause of the collision remains unknown. The southbound curb lane will be closed while police will be on scene to collect evidence. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes as other closures in that immediate area may be necessary depending on the size of the collision scene.

SPS is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the collision, to contact Surrey Police Service’s non-emergency 604-599-0502 and quote file number 26-119038 (SP).
