Surrey Police Service (SPS) and the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 84-year-old male. 

Won Kil Kim was last seen at approximately 7:00 am on November 16, 2025, in the 10300 block of 155A Street in Surrey. He has not been seen or heard from since.  He advised he was going to go to church in Burnaby and then hike in the Grouse Mountain Area, but it is unclear if he attended either location. 
 

He is described as a male, Korean, 5’ 5”, 140 lbs.  (Please see attached photo). It is unknown at this time what he was wearing but he may be carrying two hiking poles.  Police and family are very concerned and are requesting assistance from the public, media and social media to assist in locating him.
