The RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) and Surrey Police Service (SPS) are requesting assistance in locating a missing 11-year-old boy.

On May 22, 2026, at approximately 9:15 am, 11-year-old Jason Onyishi was last seen by his family. It was believed he was attending a nearby school in his Fleetwood neighbourhood.  Extensive searches by RCMP SPOSU officers have not located Jason. 

Jason Onyishi is described as an 11-year-old Black male with a slim build. He weighs 55kg and stands 133cms tall. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He is wearing black jeans, a blue shirt and a black sweater. Jason’s right hand is bandaged. (see attached photo)
