Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an overnight shooting into a business in the Newton neighbourhood of Surrey.

On October 10, 2025, at approximately 8:45 am police responded to reports of a shooting in the 8200 block of 124 Street, Surrey. SPS Frontline members located a business that had been damaged by numerous bullets. The business was closed at the time of the shooting, and nobody was injured or present in the business at the time.

SPS Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST) attended the scene and is assisting with the investigation. Integrated Forensic Identification Service (IFIS) attended the scene and assisted with the collection of evidence.

While the motive for the incident is still under investigation, there are no established ties to any extortion investigations.
