Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) officers are investigating an early morning fight on a party bus that resulted in four people being injured, two of whom were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Shorty after 1:00 am on December 6, 2025, police received a 9-1-1 call from a party bus driver who had stopped eastbound on Highway 1 just before the 192 Street exit. The driver reported that several people on the bus were fighting. At the same time, another 9-1-1 call was received from a passenger on the bus advising that several people had been stabbed and that the suspect had fled the scene on foot.

Police arrived a short time later to find four people injured. Two were transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, and two more were treated on scene for minor injuries. SPOSU officer, with the assistance of Langley RCMP officers and the Lower Mainland Integrated Police Dog Service (IPDS), conducted extensive searches in the area but could not locate the suspect, who was described as a White male in his 20’s, approximately 6’ tall and 150 lbs, having dirty short blonde hair, and wearing a white shirt with lemons on it and possibly grey pants.
