Police Investigate Shots Fired and Two Vehicle Fires

Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) and Surrey Police Service (SPS) officers are investigating a shots fired incident at a Surrey residence and two vehicle fires on the morning of December 7, 2025.
At about 8:21 am on December 7, 2025, SPS officers responded to a request from Surrey Fire Service to assist with a vehicle fire in the 10200 block 125 Street, Surrey. A few minutes later, SPOSU officers responded to calls of possible shots fired outside a residence located in the 11000 block 140A Street, Surrey. Approximately 30 minutes later, SPS officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Regal Drive near Regent Place, Surrey.
No one was injured in any of the incidents, and all appear connected at this early stage of the investigations.
Officers will be on scene throughout the day to examine the areas for physical and digital evidence. The motive for the shots fired and two vehicle fires remain under investigation and investigators will be liaising with police partners to determine if there are any connections to other files. No extortion-related links have been made at this time.
