Surrey Police Service (SPS) is advising the public that the person who was the subject of a public appeal in an alleged sexual assault that occurred on September 17, 2025, has now been identified by police. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Investigators have reason to believe the suspect is a young person and are requesting that media remove any images from their websites and social media and do not publish the photo any further.
