Surrey Police Service (SPS) is updating the December 5, 2025, collision between a large cube van-style vehicle and a child pedestrian to advise that the child has now sadly passed away. 

SPS’s Collision Investigation Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators.

Anyone with information about this incident, has CCTV footage, or who may have been driving in the area at the time and is in possession of dashcam footage, is asked to contact the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 25-107877 (SP).
