Surrey Police Service (SPS) is advising that one of the passengers, a 23-year-old female, who suffered life-threatening injuries in a January 1, 2026, collision near the intersection of 32 Avenue and 194 Street has sadly passed away.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, but it is believed that impairment was a contributing factor. At this time no criminal charges have been laid.
