"Protecting our Community, Protecting your Future”, is a presentation by the SPS Inclusion and Awareness Unit that raises awareness about how newcomers and young people may be targeted by organized crime in our communities. We'll be explaining how recruitment can begin, and some of the signs to look for, and practical ways to protect yourself and your friends. We'll also be there to answer any questions you may have about the extortion crisis and exploitation. We're hoping that by explaining the risks and knowing where to look for support – we can work together to keep our community safe and protect the futures of the newcomers and young adults in our community.
