During emergency preparedness week, step into Quake Cottage at the Surrey Civic Plaza and experience what an 8.0 magnitude earthquake feels like. This is an opportunity for residents of all ages to learn practical skills, connect with local emergency responders, and better prepare for unexpected situations. Members from the Surrey Emergency Program, Surrey Police Service, South Fraser Search and Rescue, and Surrey Emergency Program Amateur Radio will be in attendance with displays and information.
