Benefits & Salary Highlights
We’re committed to building a top-tier police service for Surrey and for our people. We’ve worked with our members to put together an employment package focused on employee wellness and competitive compensation.
Surrey Police Service offers nationally competitive compensation with opportunities for continued salary progression throughout your career.
Expedited progression program
We are currently offering an Expedited Progression program designed to provide eligible experienced officers with faster advancement through the constable pay scale during the policing transition. Under the program, eligible Fourth or Third-Class constables advance forward a class directly upon hire date to either Third or Second-Class constables. This increases base salary earlier in an officer's career and also increases the value of applicable premiums and overtime that are calculated using base salary.
Based on the current wage structure, the program provides an estimated $33,744 in additional base earnings over the illustrated progression, excluding overtime.
