If you're a female that's interested in a policing career, the Intro to Policing Workshop for Women is your opportunity to meet SPS officers, learn about the career, try the POPAT, intro to police defence tactics and equipment, teambuilding activities, and much more.
Registration is required as space is limited, and in order to be considered you must meet the following requirements:
- 19 years of age
- Preferred 30 Credits
- Preferred to have attended an SPS Information Session
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (with a verifiable record of employment and residency).
- Must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license
- Must be interested in a career in policing
