Surrey Fire Service fire investigators have advised that the overnight fire that damaged several businesses in a City Centre strip mall is not considered suspicious.

The individual initially arrested as a suspect has since been released from custody.

The fire scene has been turned over to property owners and business representatives. Any additional inquiries regarding the nature of the fire should be directed to Surrey Fire Service.
