One person has now been charged with several Criminal Code offences following an incident in Cloverdale yesterday afternoon.

Shortly after 12:30 pm on March 16, 2025, RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) frontline officers responded to a call that a woman had been stabbed by a man near a residence in the 6300 block Sundance Drive, Surrey.

Tyler James Heiling, a 38-year-old male, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Aggravated assault
• Assault with a weapon,
• Break and enter,
• Mischief, and
• Failing to comply with an Undertaking.

Heiling remains in custody until his next court appearance which is scheduled for March 21, 2025.
