A man has now been charged with numerous Criminal Code offences in relation to a series of violent break and enters and assaults that occurred in South Surrey on February 26, 2025. See previous release here: SPS Media Release (Feb 26, 2025) - Suspect arrested in violent south Surrey break-ins.

David William Charles Hoffman, a 38-year-old male, has been charged with:

• Two counts of break and enter
• One count of assault
• Two counts of mischief under $5,000
• One count of failing to comply with a release order

David Hoffman has been remanded in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
