This investigation has been transitioned over to Delta Police Department following confirmation that the missing person was last seen in Delta on March 2, 2023. Any information regarding the missing person should be directed to Delta Police at 604-946-4411.

Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing youth.

Joseph Chen was last seen at 2:30 PM on March 2, 2023, in the 16200 block of 88th Ave in Surrey. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Joseph Chen is described as a 14-year-old Asian male, 5′6″, 123 lbs., with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. (Please see attached photo.) He was last seen wearing a khaki-coloured jacket and brown pajama pants with a teddy bear pattern on the pant legs. Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being. It is out of character for this person to be out of touch this long.
