Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting

Surrey Police Service (SPS) and RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) are advising the public of a shots fired incident that occurred at a Surrey residence.
At approximately 3:05 am on November 27, 2025, RCMP SPOSU officers responded to calls of possible shots fired at a residence located in the 11200 block of 153A Street, Surrey. SPOSU officers arrived and confirmed that the residence had been damaged by gunshots. Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
RCMP SPOSU General Investigation Unit (GIU) has taken conduct of the investigation. The investigation is in its early stages and investigators will be continuing to gather evidence related to the shots fired, including liaising with police partners to determine if there are any links to other files. Currently, it does not appear that the incident is linked to the ongoing series of extortions.
