On January 25, at approximately 12:05 am, Surrey Police Service (SPS) members attended the 12000 block of 80 Avenue regarding a fire at a business. Surrey Fire Services attended and extinguished the fire. The business suffered minor damage as a result of the fire.

SPS Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST) attended the scene and are assuming conduct of the investigation. While the motive for the incident is still under investigation, at this time it is believed to be an arson.
